Holiday Hours - Paris Independent Schools Tax Office
 

The tax office will be open December 26 - 30, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The tax office will be closed January 2, 2012 for New Year’s Day. Taxpayers may drop off payments any time in the deposit box. Happy Holidays! 


Paris Students Participate in 2011 Christmas Parade
   
   

The Paris Chamber of Commerce held its annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 3, 2011.  Paris Elementary Student Government entered a float, "Holly Jolly Greyhound Christmas" and featured greyhounds from the Shamrock Greyhound Placement Center.  The PHS Band of Pride marched down Main Street playing Christmas Carols adding to the Christmas cheer!

Alexis Tye Breaks School Scoring Record
Junior guard Alexis Tye hit a school-record 43 points during the Ladyhounds’ 62-43 season opening victory over Eminence.  Click here to read more. 

Winter Sports Season Underway

Steel Magnolia Coming to Paris High School
The concert scheduled for Thursday, December 1 has been postponed due to the unexpected hospitalization of the female lead singer for Steel Magnolia.  The concert will be rescheduled for sometime in January.  The concert was first place prize in the "Cell Phones for Soldiers" drive.  PHS donated over 100 cell phones for soldiers, beating out 28 schools in Central Kentucky.   Click here to hear one of Steel Magnolia's songs!
