Cincinnati Art Museum!
 
The Paris Elementary Spanish- speaking families took a group trip to visit the Cincinnati Art Museum together to appreciate artistic expression. 

Sight Word Fun!
 
Student use salt dough and cookie cutters to practice their sight words then finish up the lesson by creating their own ornaments. 

Santa Visit!
 
Mr. and Mrs. Claus came to PES to visit with each and every student!

Drum Circle

 
Kindergarten has been learning about African artists and their creations. Brandon Arvay and his friends introduced students to an African drum circle. The students danced to the music and played the drums! 

Number Sense!
  Kindergarten students are learning to show their work and answers in multiple ways!
 

Roller Coaster Fun
  Ms. Crain's 4th graders tested potential and kinetic energy by building marble rollercoasters.
 

The Running Club
 
Our elementary kids tested their speed and endurance in 3 cross country races hosted by PES. These races had over 200 runners from 6 different elementary schools and our students did a great job of representing Paris. 

Hounds Win Trophy!
 
Paris Little Hound grade 4/5 Football Team had a recent tournament at Henry Clay High School and beat the Ducks! They were proud to bring home the trophy!

Growing Guinea Pig Food
 
Students planted plants they learned Guinea Pigs liked to eat. Then, students harvested and fed the Guinea Pigs the food they grew! 

Felting Soap at Shaker Village
  Paris Elementary students visited Shaker Village and made felted soap. The Shakers used wool to make a variety of fabrics. Students learned about wool and the process of making felt. They created a unique craft that can be used at home or given as a gift!


 

Hopewell Visit
 
Students visited the Hopewell Museum to see the 150 years of Paris Schools artifacts in addition to their hands-on exhibits.
