Mrs. Norris Honored
  Congratulations to PES reading intervention teacher, Mrs. Ashley Norris, for receiving the Campbellsville University "Excellence in Teaching Award" for 2016.
 

Geometricity
  Fifth grade students worked in teams to create a city using their geometry, area and volume skills.


 

PES "Lighting It Up Blue" for Autism Awareness!


State Winner!

  Paris Elementary would like to congratulate Michaela Benson for being announced as the first place state winner for the Daughters of the American Revolution Stamp Design Art Contest.  She will be honored at a special award ceremony by the DAR organization.
 


"Helping Hounds" Volunteer Program is Great Success

4H Speech Winners!
 
Twenty PES 4th and 5th grade students competed in the 4H speech and demonstration competition. Six students will move on to the regional competition: Trinity, Briley, Blake, Chelsea, Emily, and Makayla. Congratulations!  Not pictured: Luke and Katherine.

Career Day at PES!

 
PES hosted Career Fair Day! Thank you to all of our local community helpers for sharing your occupations with our students! 

The Great Fossil Find!
 
Paris Elementary third grade students in Ms. Alison Lenhart's class use fossils and their Skeletal Resource Manuals to see what fossils can teach us about the past.   

PHS Key Club Partners with Elementary
  Key Club members partnered with Paris Elementary third graders and their teachers to create Valentine's Day cards for the residents at Bourbon Heights. Key Club members and the PES third graders worked hard to make over 150 cards for the residents to enjoy at their Sweetheart Dinner.
 

Structural Engineers at Work
  Second graders in Ms. Roby's class designed and built models of the Golden Gate Bridge.
 

Engineering Design in Third Grade
  Third grade students share their Engineering Projects with Mrs. Jennifer Brooks' Second Graders. 
 

Early Settlement Reader's Theatre
 
Mrs. Cornett's fifth graders performed skits about Roanoke, Jamestown, and Plymouth.

Animal Structures
 
Students in Mrs. Morris applied engineering and design standards to create animal structures.
