Sixth Graders Learning to Compare and Contrast!
Sixth grade students in Miss Samantha Roy's class are in the beginning stages of learning to compose a compare and contrast paper. They practiced this skill by comparing two different objects as a group activity, listing how the objects were alike and how they were different. Through the brainstorming process and their creativity,  students will be able to provide well thought out, organized papers.

Midterm Reports Sent Home September 21st!
After reviewing the budget for this school year, one area where administration plans to save money is in postage.  Normally, the middle school sends eight mass mailings a year for midterms and report cards.  This alone totals almost $1000.00.  Paris Middle School plans to explore the option of parents obtaining these reports through Infinite Campus and/or by students bringing these reports home.  Principal Dailey will send home an automated phone message letting parents know when to expect these reports.  These dates will also be advertised on the school webpage and marquee.  Midterm reports for 1st Nine Weeks and picture proofs were handed out to students September 21, 2011.
