Middle School Celebrates Grandparents' Day!

Mrs. Shackelford's Students Build Plot Pyramid
 

Students from Samantha Shackelford's sixth grade Language Arts class worked diligently on making a plot pyramid for the short story, "Priscilla and the Wimps." They analyzed the different literary elements, and used these elements to explain and outline this very entertaining short story. 


Mr. Yeager's Spanish Students' Work on YouTube!
Students in Mr. Yeager's Spanish 1 class recently published new lyrics to the Spanish song "Me gustas tu".  Their lyrics and artwork are posted on Mr. Yeager's YouTube Channel.  Click here to view.

Family and Consumer Science Department Receives Grant
Great news!  Mrs. Georgeanna Jarvis, Family and Consumer Science teacher, announced that her department was awarded a $100 Grant from the Kentucky Beef Council. 

Fun in the Foods Lab
 
Paris Middle School students have been in the kitchen!  In Mrs. Jarvis' class students are learning how important it is to eat a healthy Breakfast everyday.  Students have learned about eating foods with lower fat. The student chefs prepared scrambled eggs and turkey bacon.  They all set their tables and ate family style. Click here to view the complete photo gallery! 

Mid-term Reports Sent Home Monday, September 17
First nine weeks mid-term progress reports will be sent home with students on Monday, September 17, 2012.  Parents, please look for these reports!
