The students of Western High in attendance were recognized before the start of the Paris Boys Varsity Basketball game, where the players were wearing Western High blue and white jerseys in honor of the school. 

On February 20th, Graduates of Western High School, an all black high school that existed in Paris from 1918-1963, gathered at Paris High to celebrate the history of the Paris Independent School District and reminisce about their time at Western High.
