Hello Paris Families,

Covid-19 continues to impact our lives in ways that we might have never imagined. Even with the availability of a vaccine and numerous safety precautions in place, our positive case numbers in Bourbon County and around the state continue to rise.
Due to an increased number of positive cases and quarantines in our district as well as increased community spread of Covid-19,  there will be no school on Friday, November 19th and the entire following week, November 22nd through 26th. These days will NOT be NTI or Virtual Instruction days; they will be made up later in the year. Students will return to school after Thanksgiving Break on Monday, November 29th. At this time, all scheduled breaks will remain intact throughout the year (Winter Break, Spring Break etc…).  All athletic competitions will be suspended beginning Friday, November 19th.
We encourage everyone in our community to follow social distancing guidelines and take the vaccine if you haven’t already done so to help mitigate the spread of the virus. Please attend the Bourbon County Health Department’s Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic located at the PMS/PHS Cafeteria on Tuesday, November 23rd from 4:00PM - 6:30PM. Vaccines will be available for all individuals over the age of 5.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to combat the spread of this virus. The safety of our students and staff continues to be our top priority.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact your child’s school or to reach out directly to me at 859-987-2160 or at [email protected].

Thank you,

Stephen McCauley
