Please see this important message from Superintendent Stephen McCauley:

June 26, 2020

Greyhound Families,

As many of you are aware, the Governor and the Kentucky Department of Education recently released the Healthy at School guidance documents to assist districts with implementing procedures for safely reopening schools this fall. These efforts include our reentry task force and subcommittees who are tasked with reviewing these documents and drafting proposals customized for our schools, with student and staff safety remaining our top priority.
In the following days, we will be hosting virtual town hall meetings to address concerns, answer questions and obtain feedback from our district employees, students, parents and community stakeholders. Links for these virtual meetings will be shared via social media and school email; and will include a section for submitting questions, comments or concerns beforehand.
Know that we take the opportunity and the responsibility to serve our families seriously. Your input is extremely valuable to this process. As we continue to collaborate with our neighboring school districts, local, state and national health partners, the Governor’s Office and the Kentucky Department of Education, we look forward to working together with you to help us best prepare for our students to return to school this fall.

Sincerely,
Stephen McCauley
