All "A" State Tournament Information

UPDATE 1/25/2022 

1. Ladyhounds Region Champs T-shirts are here!
   Pick them up at Central Office below the Middle School until 4PM Tuesday or from 8-9AM Wednesday morning before you head to EKU!
2. We also have extra shirts available for purchase. They are $15 and may be purchased from Central Office. We will accept cash or check.
3. Masks will be required at all times while in EKU's arena, so bring your Paris mask and your new Ladyhounds shirt and let's fill the bleachers!
4. PrepSpin will be streaming the games this year. $10 per game. Follow @Kentuckyalla on Twitter for live score updates and check allaclassic.org for updated brackets and game stats.

1. There will be NO SCHOOL for all Paris students Wednesday, January 26th, 2022 to allow all Paris Students and Staff the chance to attend the All “A” State Tournament to watch our Paris Ladyhounds Basketball team play Covington Holy Cross at 11:30AM in McBrayer Arena at Eastern Kentucky University.

   1. This was voted on and approved by the Board of Education at Tuesday night’s Board Meeting which can be found HERE.

   2. The updated Academic Calendar may be found on our website HERE.

   3. This school day will not need to be made up at the end of the year, because the hours will be absorbed into the existing calendar.

2. Ladyhounds T-Shirts

   1. Ladyhounds T-shirts were sold through pre-order earlier this week.

   2. They will be a black design on a short sleeve Bella Canvas Heather Gray T-shirt.

   3. All profits from these T-shirt sales were used to purchase shirts for Paris High School students to wear to the State Tournament.

   4. Pre-Ordered shirts will be available for payment and pick-up at Paris Central Office on Tuesday, January 25th. We can accept cash or check.

   5. Students and Staff will receive their free shirts at school on Tuesday, January 25th.

   6. Leftover shirts may be available for sale on Tuesday afternoon. We will make a post on our Facebook page if they are available. They will be $15 each.

3. There will be TWO Pep Buses traveling to EKU on the 26th.

   1. A Student Pep Bus will be available to all PMS/PHS students.  (More than one bus will be available if needed.)

      1. PMS/PHS students should sign up to ride the pep bus HERE.

      2. Tickets for all PMS/PHS students who are riding the Student Pep Bus have been paid in full in advance. Students who do not ride the pep bus must pay for their tickets in advance with Coach Barr or at the door at EKU.

      3. Per Federal Regulations, mask wearing will be required at all times on school buses.

      4. The Student Pep Bus will leave from Paris High School at 10:00AM

      5. PMS/PHS students riding the Pep Bus should bring money for lunch.

   2. There will also be a Community Pep Bus traveling to EKU on the 26th.

      1. THIS COMMUNITY PEP BUS will be available on a first come first serve basis to any community member who would like to travel with us to EKU on Wednesday. The more the merrier!  

         1. Community Members must sign up for the Community Pep Bus by Monday January 23rd at 5:00 p.m. and purchase a ticket in advance or at the gate at EKU.

         2. Sign up to ride the Pep Bus HERE.

         3. Per Federal Regulations, mask wearing will be required at all times on school buses.

         4. The bus will depart from Paris High School at 10:00 a.m.  

         5. This bus will load and begin it’s return to Paris High School approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the ballgame.

4. Tickets for the First Round of the State Tournament may be purchased in advance from Athletic Director Cary Barr or at the door at EKU.

   1. ALL Tickets are $10 in advance or at the door.

   2. Paris Schools will have a section in the gym that will be seated on a first come first serve basis.

   3. If you would like to pre-purchase tickets, Athletic Director Cary Barr will be at PHS each morning from 8:00AM to 9:00AM and after school in the PHS Gym from 4:00PM to 6:00PM to sell tickets in advance. Otherwise, you may purchase tickets at the gate at EKU.
