Paris Elementary Receives Grant
Paris Elementary School recently was selected to receive a competitive grant funded through Toyota and United Way to offer a series of parent workshops for families with children under the age of five. These events will be held monthly and will teach parents how to turn everyday moments into early learning experiences. Click here to read the press release.

Middle and High Schools Recipients of iPads
Thanks to generous donations from Kentucky Bank and Traditional Bank, Paris Middle School and Paris High School now have access to iPads that are housed in the library. Teachers also received an iPad for the classroom.

Paris Band of Pride Scores Distinguished!
Paris High School Marching Band of Pride participated in the Mason County Band Contest Saturday, October 12, 2013. The band delivered outstanding performances in preliminary and finals competition and earned two distinguished ratings, the first for the band under the direction of Mr. Jordan Williams, who is in his second year at Paris. The band came in second in class 1A, and first in class 1A in color guard and percussion, and third overall in all three categories. The band travels to Madison Southern High School Saturday, October 19th for State Quarter Finals competition. They take the field at 7:45 pm. Former Greyhounds Reunite and Witness Big Win!
Kentucky Secretary of State Allison Lundergan Grimes was on hand to honor former Paris Football Coaches Homer Goins (left) and Randy Reese as part of the Greyhound Football Reunion festivities. Former players, coaches and friends gathered to swap stories, reconnect and watch an exciting football game! The Hounds came away with a win over Ludlow. Click here to view the complete photo gallery.
