First Thanksgiving Performance
First graders researched about the first Thanksgiving as well as several Native American tribes. They performed songs, poems, and art work to display their project based learning for family and friends. The event culminated with sampling of favorite family dishes. Click here to view the complete photo gallery.

Learning About Native American Culture
Mrs. Bond's kindergarten students modeled their Native American wear as they learned about their culture.

Up the Schoolhouse! Gobble, gobble!
Paris Elementary kicked off the "Book-It Challenge" by Mrs. Schjoll dressing as a turkey and reading a favorite Thanksgiving story to the kids from the school's rooftop! With this program students are encouraged to read for 20 minutes a night each month to earn a free personal pizza from Pizza Hut.
