PHS Students Re-elect Obama in Mock Election
  Student Government held a student/faculty mock election on October 26, 2012.  The overall vote re-elected President Barak Obama with 62% of the popular vote.   

Seniors Honored Prior to Football Game

Paris Band of Pride Marches into History
Paris High School Marching Band of Pride made school history Saturday when they placed sixth in State Semifinal Competition in Bowling Green.  Paris Band went undefeated in their regular season, placing first in Class A, Best Color Guard, and Best Percussion at every contest they participated in, and finishing sixth in Class A in the state. “These kids have worked so hard, and I am so proud of them! They were great band students to begin with. We are thrilled to carry on the tradition of excellence that Mr. Phil Grigson and Mr. Tom Siwicki established,” said Williams.

Football Team Earns Home Play-off Game
  Friday evening our football team defeated Bracken County to ensure our first home playoff game since 2001.  Paris will play Dayton High School on Friday, November 2, 2012.  Game time is 7:30 p.m.   Congratulations to Coach Washington and the Greyhounds!  Click here to view the complete photo gallery.

Band Marches Into School History

Paris Band made school history as they placed 4th at Class A Regional Quarter Finals at Madison Southern High School, Saturday, October 20th.  The highest Paris had ever placed at quarter finals was 6th place. Class A Semi Final competition will be held at Warren Central High School Saturday. Paris takes the field at 12:30 PM.  State Finals will be held at Western Kentucky University Saturday evening. 

Marching Band Finishes Regular Season Undefeated!
Congratulations to the band who captured 1st Place, Best Color Guard, and Best Percussion awards at South Laurel High School's contest Saturday, October 13, 2013. The band finished 6th overall, and was awarded the "Best Pit Crew" title. With a huge jump in their score, they are well on their way to state finals!  The band will compete in Regional Quarterfinals Saturday at Madison Southern High School.  Paris performs at 5:30.

It's Not a Smart Phone!
  Students in Mr. James Smith's World Civilization class learned about how people of the past were able to communicate with people of the future. Students were exposed to the writings of Martin Luther and Christopher Columbus and the methods they used to write with in the 1500's, Quill and Ink.

Wallis Brooks of Kentucky Bank spoke to students in Mrs. Daniell's personal finance class. 

Marching Band Sweeps Class A Again!
Paris High School Band once again took top honors in Class A at Madison Central High School's October 6, 2012 Tournament of Bands, bringing home trophies for 1st place, Best Color Guard, and Best Percussion. The band finished 7th overall against several state finalist bands.  Click here to view the award winning performance.  The band performs in it's final regular season competition Saturday at South Laurel High School at 4:00.
