As a part of our healthy schools initiative, Paris will be announcing several health based opportunities that are taking place throughout the district.  These are in direct response to survey data that was collected in January.  

Kathy Tobin shared the news that staff are permitted to wear athletic shoes during February and are encouraged to model the importance of physical activity for our students.  We are pleased to announce that all Paris Independent staff and students will have free access to a workout class in our new All Sports Facility on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00-5:30 p.m.  Our own Paris High School teacher, Bree Bowens, (who completes the ACE Group Fitness Certified Instructor training this summer) will be leading these classes and providing modifications for all skill levels.
