Mission Statement

Our Library Media Center exists to empower all students with the resources and opportunities to inquire, collaborate, create, and explore. Through these experiences, students develop the knowledge, skills, and curiosity needed to grow as lifelong learners while fostering a lasting love of reading.
Bring your summer reading bookmarks back to school in August to receive a prize.

Meet Your Librarian

I am a graduate of Paris High School and earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Georgetown College, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University, and Library Media Certification from Murray State University. I began teaching in Paris in 1997 and am proud to serve the community where I grew up.

I live in Paris with my husband, Clay. We are both Paris High School graduates, and our two children, also Paris High School graduates, attend the University of Kentucky, where they study engineering. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, binge-watching crime shows, and spending time with our black Lab, Gatsby.
