Enrollment FAQs

Congrats! You're done! If your child was registered at Paris City Schools in the 2021/2022 School Year, you do not need to register them again in order to attend this year.

Be on the lookout for information from your child's school.

You may also register In-Person by visiting our Central Office building below Paris Middle School on 7th Street during regular business hours. Be sure to call our Central Office at 859-987-2160 if you have any questions!

Good news! We are now accepting Non-Resident Enrollment Applications.

House Bill 563 which goes into effect on July 1st 2022 no longer requires students to attend a school in the district or county where they live.

A few notes:

  1. Non-Resident Enrollment cannot exceed building or classroom capacity.
  2. High School Athletes must meet KHSAA requirements regarding transfers in order to play immediately at the Varsity level.
  3. Transportation will be limited outside of district boundaries.

  1. A legal birth certificate or other reliable proof of age and identification
  2. A current Kentucky certificate of immunization
  3. Proof of a preventative health care examination conducted within six months prior to initial entry into the Head Start Program and another preventative health care examination within one-year priority to entry into the 6th grade
  4. Proof of an eye examination between ages 3-6 by an optometrist or ophthalmologist, documented on the Kentucky School Eye Exam Form; documentation must be presented to the school district no later than January 1 of the first year that the child is enrolled
  5. Proof of a dental screening or examination by a dentist, dental hygienist, physician, registered nurse, advanced registered nurse practitioner or physician assistant, documented on the Kentucky Dental Screening Form (This form must be presented to the school no later than January 1 of the first year that a 5- or 6-year-old child is enrolled.)
