At Paris Independent we recognize that every child is a unique individual who has different needs which must be met in order to reach his or her full potential. Our administrators and office personnel strive to fulfill the needs of our students, staff, and community by following a "Leadership through Service" model.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm .
Any change in these hours will be posted on the District Home Page.
Superintendent's Message
It is an incredible honor to serve as Superintendent of Paris City Schools and to now reflect on seven years in this role alongside more than two decades in public education. Since first joining the Paris team, I have had the opportunity to serve our district in many capacities including teacher, Dean of Students, Director of Pupil Personnel, Director of Human Resources, Director of Transportation, Assistant Superintendent, and now Superintendent since 2019.
Over the past seven years, our district has experienced meaningful growth and tremendous success. Together, we have expanded opportunities for students, strengthened academic and extracurricular programs, improved facilities and operations, increased financial stability, and continued building a culture centered on students, relationships, and high expectations. Most importantly, we have remained committed to ensuring every student feels supported, valued, and prepared for the future.
One of the things I am most proud of is the strength of the people who make Paris City Schools special. Our teachers, staff, administrators, families, community partners, and Board of Education work tirelessly to create opportunities for students every single day. Their dedication and passion continue to move our district forward.
The Paris community has always been incredibly supportive and welcoming to my family and me. My wife, Rebecca, and our daughters, Elinor and Mabel, are proud to call Paris home. The relationships built within this community are a major reason why our schools continue to thrive.
As we look ahead, I remain excited about the future of Paris City Schools. We will continue focusing on academic excellence, innovation, student wellness, and opportunities that prepare students for success beyond graduation. While much has been accomplished over the last seven years, I firmly believe the best is still ahead for our students and our community.
