Our administrators and office personnel strive to fulfill the needs of our students, staff, and community by following a "Leadership through Service" model.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm .
Any change in these hours will be posted on the District Home Page.

Stephen McCauley Named Superintendent at Paris Independent SchoolsThe Paris Board of Education has named Stephen McCauley Superintendent of Paris Independent Schools. McCauley brings with him a wealth of experience and expansive leadership qualities developed from his 17 years in public education. He has served in the Paris Independent District as a teacher, Dean of Students, Director of Pupil Personnel, Director of Human Resources, Director of Transportation and most recently as the Assistant Superintendent of Operations. 

McCauley expressed his excitement for the new role in the district, “I am honored that the Board entrusted me to continue working with the outstanding team at Paris.  The future is bright and I am excited to continue building on student-focused initiatives that are positively impacting our students.” McCauley added, “The Paris community has always been so welcoming and I look forward to expanding those relationships to grow partnerships between the community and our schools.”Outgoing Superintendent Ken Bicknell said of McCauley, “Stephen has been a leader in our district for over a decade. His background in both business and education give him a unique skill set that makes him an incredible asset to the Paris Team and the perfect choice to move this district forward.

”Board Chairperson Sharon Fields commented, “We are so pleased with the outcome of this search process. In the end, the Board felt strongly that Mr. McCauley is the best person to lead the district in the coming years.  His commitment to the students and families in our community and his vision for the future of our school system demonstrated to the board his capability to succeed as our next superintendent.”In addition to his experiences at Paris Independent, McCauley brings previous experience from Franklin County Public Schools, Metro Nashville Public Schools (TN) and Millersburg Military Academy.As he takes on this new role, McCauley will be moving to Paris along with his wife, Rebecca, and two daughters, Elinor and Mabel. His official start date as Superintendent is July 1, 2019.”
