Paris High School boasts a tremendous athletic heritage that has produced many notable athletes.
Among these athletes are:
- Basil Hayden (1916), First UK All American
- Blanton Collier (1928), Football Coach at The University of Kentucky and Cleveland Browns
- Bill Arnsparger (1943), NFL Coach
- Beth Wilkerson (1979), Kentucky’s Miss Basketball and First Team Parade All American
- Alvin Sims (1993), stand-out player for University of Louisville

- Three State Football Championships in 1973, 1981, 1982
- District Football Title in 2001
- State Championship Singles Titles in Tennis, Gymnastics, and Track
- State Cheerleading Championship (1970)
- Boys’ Basketball Program with over twenty-five district titles, including the title in 2001
- Girls’ Basketball Program with five Sweet Sixteen State Tournament appearances in 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980 and 2004 with a runner-up title in 1977
- 1920 Girls’ KHSAA State Championship
- State Class A Track Championships in 1974, 1976 with runner-up titles in 1975, 1987
- Boys’ Basketball Program with four Tenth Region All “A” Titles including a State Semi-finalist Title in 1997
- Girls’ Basketball Program with seven Tenth Region All “A” Titles including State Semi-finalist Titles in 2004 and 2007 and a State Runner-up Title in 2008
